Iridium Software is a small software development company based in Cape Town, South Africa.
We try our best to develop software that we’re proud to put our name on, using the best tools we can find. We’ll do once off software projects with lots of wizz-bang features, little utils that convert that weird format from your foreign customer into something more use-able or an add-on that fills the gaps in your fancy expensive ERP system. Occasionally we’ll actually release something that is our own product and not something we’re doing for someone else.
Iridium Software does development on most platforms and OS’s (Linux, Windows, Apple Mac) and have even “played” with writing software for things like PDA’s and cellphones and developed software for that big scary thing called “The Internet”. We’re not tied to any one development tool or language, although we prefer C#, Python and Java. We borrow the best ideas from all the different “software development methodologies” and try do things the right way. We develop software because we enjoy it, its fun and interesting and because “surfing the web” doesn’t pay too well.
At the moment this site is going through a bit of development, so you’ll have to excuse the scaffolding, weird messages and the pile of rubble in the corner. Please do come back and visit occasionally though, you might like what this place becomes
and feel free to comment on things, you never know we might listen.
